Rolf Reinschmidt, who has driven the Adidas brand's business in the outdoor market since 2007, has relinquished this leadership role to become an internal consultant in the Adidas brand team from the start of June. Reinschmidt will not be replaced as outdoor general manager because the division was integrated into a wider business unit, Heartbeat Sports, in the middle of April. However, the company indicates that it will appoint another person to supervise the outdoor division within Heartbeat Sports, based at the group's head office in Herzogenaurach. Heartbeat Sports groups together other teams focusing on sports such as tennis, rugby, cricket, swimming, Olympic sports and American sports. This business unit is led by Tim Janaway, who has been with the Adidas group since 2004, focusing on business development and marketing before he joined Heartbeat Sports five years ago
