Canadian lifestyle brand Roots is celebrating its 50th anniversary with an exclusive apparel and doll collaboration with fashion icon Barbie. The two brands will launch Sept. 15, 2023, to inspire Barbie and Roots fans to express themselves creatively with style and comfort in any setting, from the outdoors to the city. The limited-edition Barbie doll will be outfitted head-to-toe in Roots’ most iconic styles.
From CA$38 (Barbie X Roots Medium Zip Pouch) to CA$998 (Barbie X Roots Varsity Awards Jacket), the limited-edition collection reflects both brand identities with subtle splashes of color from Barbie Pink and Roots Pine Grove Green, from the clothing to the leather accessories. Sizing ranges from XXS-4XL to reflect the Roots and Barbie brands’ shared mission to inspire a more inclusive future. The doll is packaged in custom packaging with Roots’ 50th anniversary logo.
The limited-edition apparel collection and commemorative Barbie doll (CA$69.99) are available at select Roots stores in Canada, the U.S. and Taiwan, as well as select retailers.
