Rossignol has put an end to its apparel licensing agreement with Sports et Styles, which is related to Look Cycle, the French bicycle company. The license was attributed in 2009, to ensure the continuity of Rossignol's apparel business while the company's new owners, led by Bruno Cercley, focused on its turnaround in the ski market. Rossignol said that the licensee had aptly rebuilt its apparel range, so that it was ready to be deployed in international markets again. It has already gained ground in international markets in the last three seasons, particularly in the U.S. and Canada. The staff of Sports et Styles based at the Rossignol head office in Moirans will be employed directly by the ski company. Dominique Bergin, who chairs both Look Cycle and Sports et Styles, said that he wanted to focus entirely on the development of the Look brand, including its upscale apparel range.
