Royal Dutch Gazelle, the bicycle company, has new management on board. Jaap Merkus has moved into the top slot as general manager, replacing Xeno Grimmelt, who held the job on an interim basis. Grimmelt moved up to be senior vice president heading up the Pon Bicycle Group, which owns Gazelle. Merkus was formerly with Philips, in the international consumer division. In addition, Eric Otto joined the company as commercial director. He succeeds Roy Fuijk, who is in charge of marketing and sales for Porsche Netherlands. Otto has experience with KPN and Bruynzeel Kitchens.
