Rüdiger Brambrink, who previously worked in the automobile industry, assumed the post of deputy chief executive at Ziener, the German brand of gloves on Jan. 1, 2014. Brambrink will be working closely together with Frank Burig. While Brambrink takes care of the areas of marketing, sourcing, product management and controlling, Burig is responsible for the company's sales. Brambrink already worked for Ziener from 1994 to 2000 and supported the re-launch of the brand. Franz Ziener, owner of the company, aims to move back from the operational business in the course of 2014 and concentrate on his role as shareholder in the future. Hannover Finanz, the private equity company, acquired 34.5 percent of the shares in the spring of 2012.
