Rumors are circulating about a possible new change of ownership for Cisalfa Sport, the leading sporting goods retailing group in Italy that also owns Intersport Italia. The rumors indicate that its founder, Vincenzo Mancini, may buy back Cisalfa after sounding out potential investors in the U.K., Austria and Russia. Cisalfa's management states that the group is still under the control of Investitori Associati, the investment company that acquired a stake of 77 percent in Cisalfa in 2006. A statement on the issue is expected soon.
