Russell Athletic is the National Basketball Association’s new official uniform provider, with exclusive rights to utilize NBA, WNBA, and NBA D-League team names and logos on institutional jerseys, shorts and T-shirts throughout the team dealer network. The assortment included a reversible mesh jersey, mesh short and T-shirt, available in all 30 NBA and 14 WNBA teams. The D-League team product will be available in 2009. Russell Athletic’s new TEAM NBA program pairs the uniforms with Spalding basketballs and equipment for a one-stop resource for the apparel and equipment needed to operate a recreational league. Spalding, the official game ball and backboard of the NBA, will offer basketballs, ball carts and accessories through the same team dealer network.
