Sales at Golf House, Germany’s leading specialized golf retail chain, increased by 16.5 percent to €27.5 million in 2007. The growth is partly attributable to the company’s strategy of increasing each store’s surface or moving stores to larger locations. Such moves happened in March 2008 in Hamburg and Berlin, where the Golf House outlets now have a surface of 800 to 1,000 square meters. A new store was opened in the northern city of Bremen. The chain now counts 15 brick-and-mortar stores, its internet shop and its catalog, which appears twice a year.
