Saucony has named Shawn M. Hoy vice president of global product. He will be in charge of design, development and strategy for the brand's footwear and apparel, which has not been performing well lately, especially in the U.S. Hoy reports to Anne Cavassa, who was appointed by Wolverine Worldwide as president of Saucony a year ago. He was most recently with Nike, where he handled strategy and product in the running, training, basketball and football categories. As football footwear product director, he served on a team that won Nike's internal Global Maxim “Innovation” Award for the 2014 World Cup footwear line. Before joining Nike, Hoy was a management consultant with such firms as McKinsey and Bain.
