Scott Sports buys Bergamont

Scott Sports has acquired Bergamont Fahrrad Vertrieb, a German bicycle company, which was divested by BMC Group Holding as part of a restructuring of its assets. BMC bought Bergamont in 2008 and Scott stated that the German group's sales had doubled since then.
