Sean Cearny, whose last mission was to build up Keen Footwear’s international distribution network, has left the fast-growing U.S. company to focus on his own consultancy business. Given his special experience in the sporting goods industry and his law degree, which has been helping him in negotiating distribution agreements, Cearny is particularly interested now in helping companies to set up and run their international sales networks. He gained good connections in Europe, Asia and the Americas through his various past assignments. Prior to joining Keen, he was vice president of international at Avia between 1993 and 1996.
