Seven has licensed out the development and distribution of a line of clothing and footwear under the Invicta brand name to Global Brand Management, the Italian licensee of Umbro. The contract starts with the spring/summer 2011 season, focusing initially on the Italian market, and will last for three years. Invicta, the well-known Italian brand of backpacks and daypacks, was co-owned with Diadora before its acquisition by Seven. Diadora had signed a license for Invicta apparel prior to its recent bankruptcy, but the project did not take full shape.
