Several media reports indicate that 361 Degrees, the Chinese sports brand, is preparing to move into European markets this year. The company already made hefty investments last year to start distribution in Brazil and the U.S., where it even opened a subsidiary run by seasoned executives. 361 Degrees, the fourth-largest Chinese sports brand with sales of RMB 3,584 million (€499.8m - $576.5m) in 2013, will be displaying some of its ranges at Ispo Munich. The company apparently wants to start distribution in Germany this year and move into other European countries in 2016 ahead of the Rio Olympics, for which 361 Degrees has been appointed an official supporter, to supply apparel and footwear to thousands of volunteers and officials. While the brand's sales sharply declined in 2013 they picked up again in 2014. Earlier this year the company announced that its comparable store sales had increased by 5.5 percent for the fourth quarter of 2014 and the store count was on the rise again.
