Shimano will take over the distribution of its products in Denmark and the Baltic countries from the start of July. The company currently works with Bjarne Egedesø A/S, a Danish company that sells Shimano in Denmark as well as in the Baltics. Shimano is setting up its own sales office in Copenhagen, and products will be delivered to Danish customers from Shimano Europe's central warehouse in the Netherlands. Meanwhile, the Baltic countries are to be covered from the Shimano sales and logistics operations in Poznan, Poland, at least for the time being: The company said it had yet to decide about the modalities of distribution in the Baltics for the future. Furthermore, Shimano said that Bjarne Egedesø would continue to sell Shimano from its new facilities in Odense after the start of July.
