Shock Doctor, the maker of the No. 1 mouthguard in the world as well as other sports protective gear, has signed deals to expand into the Middle East and several African countries. Lion Fish will distribute Shock Doctor products in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt. Xanamed, already a distributor in its home country of South Africa, will also take on all sub-Saharan countries on the continent. These add on to the 50-plus countries where the brand is already sold. The company has recently appointed Paul Rutherford to be its general manager for EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa).
