Siegfried Passreiter, the long-time managing director of Fischer + Löffler Deutschland, has announced his retirement, effective at the end of 2016. The 60-year-old has served at the company since 1998. Passreiter is also member of the board of the German manufacturers' federation, BSI, where he steers the working committee in charge of snow sports. Before joining the subsidiary of the Austrian sporting goods company, he worked for Völkl from 1978 through 1997, serving first as sales director and then as managing director of the German operation. At Fischer, he will be replaced by Walter Wensauer, currently in charge of sales.
