Skechers has announced a partnership with Camila Cabello on a new global marketing campaign. The Cuban-born American singer and songwriter will be the face of Skechers' women's footwear category. The campaign, which will appear in Spanish and English, is scheduled for launch later this month. Cabello, who is 20, started her singing career as part of the girl group Fifth Harmony. In December 2016, she announced her departure from the group. Cabello was included by Time magazine among “The 25 Most Influential Teens of 2016.” Her hit “Bad Things” has generated more than 270 million Spotify streams. Cabello has been touring this summer with Bruno Mars on his 24K Magic World Tour as an opening act for several of its dates. Skechers' current ambassadors include other celebrities such as Rob Lowe, Meghan Trainor, Kelly Brook and Brooke Burke-Charvet, and athletes like Joe Montana, David Ortiz, Sugar Ray Leonard and Howie Long.
