Skechers has launched a limited-edition range of glow-in-the-dark running shoes that use photoluminescent technology. The technology is applied to specific portions of the upper on the new Nite Owl shoes to produce a glow effect in darkness or low-light conditions, even with short exposure to any light source. The pigments used in Nite Owls' glow technology are incorporated directly into the raw materials used to produce the shoe, to prevent photoluminescence from peeling, fading or rubbing off with use. The more powerful the light charge, the great and longer-lasting the glow. This first collection also features Skechers Performance GOrun and GOwalk construction, including the lightweight Resalyte midsole cushioning with memory retention.
