Skechers hosted the sixth Skechers Friendship Walk on Oct. 26, and raised more than $1 million at the event. The initiative, which takes place every year in Manhattan Beach, California – where Skechers is headquartered - aims to raise money for children with disabilities and educational projects through the Skechers Foundation. The walk begins by the Manhattan Beach Pier, then participants walk south towards Hermosa Beach, turn around at the Hermosa Beach Pier, and then return to the Manhattan Beach Pier. From pier to pier and back, the walk is about 3.5-miles long. This year there were more than 12,000 walkers.
