Skechers will be the footwear sponsor for Team Europe in the Solheim Cup, the biennial women's pro golf tournament due to be held on Sept. 9-15 in Gleneagles, Scotland. The golfers, caddies, coaches, and officials will be wearing the GO Golf Pro 2 Solheim Cup colorway. Team Europe as it stood on May 27 was composed of Anne Van Dam, Caroline Hedwall, Carlota Ciganda, Georgia Hall, Charley Hull, Azahara Munoz and Anna Nordqvist. Among the male professional golfers sponsored by the American footwear company are Colin Montgomerie, Russell Knox, Matt Kuchar, Wesley Bryan and Billy Andrade. First held in Florida in 1990, the Solheim Cup pits Europe against the U.S., following the format of the Ryder Cup.
