Skiset, the international ski and snowboard rental company based in France, has acquired Ski Break and its Skimium subsidiary, as Sport Guide has first revealed. Skimium is an online ski rental business and a partner of Decathlon. Skimium was founded in 2006 by Eric Laboureix, Dominique Chomarat and Guy Belec, with Decathlon’s support. Skimium relies on a network of around 230 affiliated shops in France and 100 in Europe, where snow sports enthusiasts can pick up the equipment they have reserved online via the Skimium platform. The Skiset group also owns the Skiset, Netski and Go Sport Montagne ski rental businesses.
