Socrep is opening a new showroom in Milan, in via Morimondo, which will host the brands Canada Goose, Manhattan Portage and Fred Perry. The move is part of a series of openings by the Italian importer of sporting goods that also includes new showrooms in Verona, Prato, Rome and Trani. Socrep, founded in 1963 by Franco Prinoth, the father of the current owner, is an exclusive Italian distributor of sports products, with particular emphasis on ski and mountaineering equipment and clothing, as well as casual wear. The company distributes a number of brands including Mammut, Montana, Elan, Falke, Burlington, Alpina and H.A.D.
