Sole Technology is in due diligence proceedings to acquire A4 Distribution, which has been the exclusive importer of its éS, Emerica, ThirtyTwo, etnies and Altamont brands in the UK and Ireland. In connection with the deal, A4 Distribution will stop its distribution of APO Snowboards. It already stopped distributing Nikita six months ago (see previous article). Allan Green will continue as managing director of Sole Technology’s new UK operation and Darren Robinson will remain as sales and operations director, at least through the end of 2006. Their future responsibilities at Sole Technology’s UK operations will be determined soon.
