Spalding has appointed Kenyatta Bynoe as senior director of marketing. She replaces Wendy Unger-Moore, who has taken a position overseas with Fruit of the Loom, parent company of Russell Brands, the owner of the Spalding brand. In her new position, Bynoe will direct the strategic planning, production and campaign execution of all integrated marketing communications at Spalding. She brings 15 years of progressively responsible marketing experience. Most recently, she held the position of senior brand advertising manager for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), where she worked on the development of marketing strategies, the production of advertising content on all media platforms, and on marketing partnerships such as the Jeep brand's deal with USA Basketball. She joined FCA in 2010. Bynoe also served as senior lifestyle marketing manager at Microsoft Corporation, where she managed strategic alliances with sports and music marketing partners and directed experiential marketing and social media activities. Spalding\'s announcement notes that some of her advertising campaigns have ranked among the top 5 on the USA Today Super Bowl Ad Meter or achieved Effie Awards for marketing effectiveness.
