Spalding is to be the official apparel supplier to the British Basketball League (BBL) for the next five years. As from the start of the 2013-2014 season, every BBL club will play in Spalding uniforms, ending the current individual arrangements. Ticket sales across the league rose by around 20 percent this season compared with the last one. Spalding said the deal is another step towards increased brand penetration within the U.K. basketball marketplace. The deal gives all BBL clubs an opportunity to offer replica apparel to their fans.
