Specialized, according to a report from velobiz.de, is getting serious about electric bicycles and has now presented its own range of pedelecs, which are said to be more sportive than other products on the market. Specialized's idea is to market a bicycle, called “Turbo,” which is designed for high speed up to 45 kilometers per hour. The batteries can be fully charged within two hours. The engine was developed by Go SwissDrive, a company founded in Switzerland in early 2011.
