Sport 1 has been ranked first in customer satisfaction among sporting goods retailers in Norway, while Stormberg has been voted first among Norway's most visible companies for its reputation. The rankings for customer satisfaction, compiled every year by Norsk Kundebarometer (NKB) at the BI Norwegian Business School, are based on the results of a yearly survey of Norwegian households and the relationships between companies and consumers. In 2011, XXL Sport was first among sport retailers, but this year it fell into third place, behind G-Sport. Stormberg beat out much bigger and well-established brands like Ikea, Statoil and many others in the Rep Trak Norge 2012 reputation rankings, which is based on a separate survey completed by 7,500 Norwegians.
