Sport 2000 International is to launch a new sustainability initiative named “Green&Fair,” which will aim at making sustainability visible for outdoor product consumers. The initiative will be launched together with a group of outdoor brands and Bluesign Technologies, the Swiss-based environmental certification company. The campaign, whose slogan will be “Please wear Green&Fair,” will start in autumn 2015 in six countries: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Denmark and Norway. The bluesign system evaluates the entire textile supply chain to reduce its impact on people and the environment.
