Sport 2000 International, the second-largest buying group for sports retailers in Europe, has appointed Dieter Schott in the new position of commercial director from the start of next year to reinforce Sport 2000 as an international retail brand. He will also be responsible for the strategic development for Sport 2000's brand portfolio, and he will conduct international marketing and sales campaigns with the top sports brands. Schott will support Wolfgang Schnellbügel, the managing director of Sport 2000 International. Schott is currently country manager of Finland's L-Fashion group for Germany, Austria and Slovenia. He previously spent several years at Nike and Head. Furthermore, Sönke Voss, business unit manager for textiles at Sport 2000 Germany, will gain international responsibilities in the same sector. In the hardware division, André Navratil will replace Martin Seitz as product manager, and Zoy Ku in Taiwan will act as junior product manager.
