Sport Finance, the successful French licensee for Kappa and Robe di Kappa, has secured two important new distribution agreements. The company will become the distributor of Prince in France from Sept. 1, fitting in well with its licensing deal for Sergio Tacchini apparel. It will also handle the distribution of Canterbury, the rugby brand owned by the Pentland Group. As previously reported, Uhlsport will cease Canterbury's distribution in France at the end of 2015 and take on instead the Australian-based BLK brand. Coupled with a license for New York Yankees clothing and other operations, Sport Finance generated sales of €57 million in 2014, up from €54 million in the previous year. It is targeting annual sales of €100 million in five years' time, thanks in part to territorial expansion. It set up a U.K. subsidiary, Sport Fashion Distribution, in Manchester last year.
