Sport Partner reports that Head is setting up its own sales organization in the Benelux countries, after many years of trading through distribution companies. Head's sales in the Benelux countries were formerly handled by Eurolight Benelux, a company based near Rotterdam that also sold Reusch and Northwave, among others. As reported at the time, part of Eurolight's activities, including the distribution of Head, was taken over in 2011 by a holding company established by the owners of Rucanor, the Dutch sports brand, as they wanted to take better advantage of their back office functions with the distribution of other brands. Operating with three employees, the new Head sales office has a showroom at the Sports Business Center in Leusden and its managers are reporting directly to Head's international head office.
