Sportamore, the largest online sporting goods retailer in the Nordic countries, is preparing to enter new markets, with the first stop being France in the autumn of 2019. According to Sportfack, Sportamore has been working strategically over the past two years to build a scalable infrastructure with a high degree of automation in order to cut start-up costs in new markets. Currently, Sportamore estimates the start-up cost for establishing in a new market at SEK 1 million (€95,000-$107,000). Listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm exchange, Sportamore had sales of SEK 758 million (€71.8m-$81.4m) in 2017.
