Sportmarken24, the online portal for independent retailers, has been cooperating with About You, the online retailer and subsidiary of the Otto group, since October. Sportmarken24 was launched in February 2018 by Dominik Benner, a German shoe retailer and former member of ANWR's supervisory board who has been very successful with a similar footwear-specific website, Schuhe24. Benner's wife, Valeska Benner, manages the high-reach sports-retail platform. During the pilot phase, products from Sportmarken24 will be offered only on About You's German web store, with later expansion to the company's other European online stores.
