Sportmaster plans to open a flagship store of 1,540 square meters in the big Grozny Mall in the city of Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic. It will be one of the Russian sporting goods retailer's biggest stores and one of the biggest ones in the Caucasus region. The Grozny Mall shopping center, with its large catchment area with five million people, is considered to be a key platform for entering the market of this region.
