SportScheck, the leading German sporting goods retailer, will organize running events in 17 German cities including Hamburg, Munich, Cologne and Berlin over the next six months. Under Armour will be the main sponsor of the events. SportScheck will combine the events with various “digital challenges” via its MapMyRun app. Users of the app can win products from Under Armour by participating in the runs. SportScheck will present its so-called “Connected Footwear” running collection at these events, allowing people to test the shoes. A new UA HOVR Sonic 2 shoe model was created by Under Armour with the corporate design of SportScheck especially for these events.
