SRAM Europe has announced that Robert Priest, its long-standing director of OE sales and dealer marketing, will leave the company in early June. In a statement, the company referred to his “declining kidney condition” and the required cures as the reason behind his decision to step away. John Nedeau, SRAM's vice president of OE sales, will temporarily handle Priest's responsibilities. Priest served at SRAM for almost 20 years. He held the role of director of European OE sales and dealer marketing since 2008, leading SRAM into becoming the second largest bike component supplier in the European market. Additionally, he led the establishment of SRAM's Dealer Service Direct programs across Germany, France, Benelux, the U.K. and Nordic regions. Prior to that role, he led SRAM's global aftermarket sales for seven years. He started with SRAM in 1995 as a market manager in the U.K., responsible for OE and aftermarket sales.
