Stöckli Swiss Sports has had to pay a fine of 140,000 Swiss francs (€128,000-$141,000) for fixing prices with its Swiss retailer partners for the sale of its skis. The Swiss ski maker did not allow them to undercut the prices set by the company. This sort of agreement violates Swiss competition regulations. Stöckli cooperated with the authorities from the start, helping the company to get away with a lower fine. It put in place a settlement immediately after the Swiss competition commission launched the investigation, agreeing to let retailers set their prices. The agreement also sets specific conditions for online retail, cross-selling and parallel imports of Stöckli products.
