Stanley Silverstein, who has worked for Warnaco for 29 years, driving its international expansion, has been named president of international development and global licensing at Perry Ellis International. He has already indicated that there are significant opportunities for expanding the presence of sports and lifestyle brands such as Original Penguin and Perry Ellis in both developed and emerging markets. Perry Ellis also owns the Jantzen and Ben Hogan brands, among others. It is the licensee for Nike swimwear and Callaway golf clothing.
