Stephen Murray plans to quit at the end of this year as president for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Deckers Outdoor Corp. The American company, which owns Ugg Australia, Teva, Sanuk, Tsubo and other brands, is looking for his successor. Murray, an American executive who had been based in London while he ran Vans in the region, joined Deckers in that position in June 2011, after working briefly as global president for Urban Outfitters. Murray led Vans for five years before its acquisition by VF Corp. and then ran VF's Outdoor & Action Sports Coalition.
