Steve Furniss, the swimming champion who founded TYR and owned the company for a while, has rejoined the American swimwear and triathlon brand as director of team sales. Ryan Dolan has become director of sports specialty sales, and Brent Smith is taking on the position of team sports and sponsorship manager. Furniss captured the bronze medal in the 200-meter individual relays at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. He sits on the board of the U.S. Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association.
