Superdry has signed a permanent contract with its interim chief executive, Julian Dunkerton, who is also one of its founders. His temporary contract would have expired in April 2021. The brand has also hired a chief operating officer, Silvana Bonello, who will be moving to the U.K., reporting to Dunkerton as of March 1. Bonello is fresh from VF Corp., where she was vice president of operations at Vans EMEA for about two years. She has otherwise spent her career at Nike, with seven years in the Netherlands working in logistics, business analysis and process management; eight years in Oregon working on the supply chain; and three years back in the Netherlands working in customer and marketplace operations. Meanwhile, Peter Williams will be resigning as chairman and stepping down from the board in 2021 once a successor has been found. He became chairman in April 2019 in support of Dunkerton’s return to the company.
