Suunto will be the exclusive supplier of timers and heart rate monitors for XTERRA, the largest off-road multi-sport event in the world. At certain events XTERRA will use Suunto’s X9i, which is said to be the smallest GPS (Global Positioning System) device on the planet, providing 3-dimensional maps of the XTERRA matches to be seen on the Suunto and XTERRA websites.
