TaylorMade has introduced a new set of irons that have been co-designed with Tiger Woods. The new P7TW irons boast many of the same design elements that Woods has in his own irons, such as face height, blade length, center of gravity progression, sole geometry, score lines and tungsten weighting. The new irons feature fully milled soles for the first time in a TaylorMade iron, which are said to eliminate variations head-to-head and set-to-set and to offer precision in every individual piece. Woods, who is making a remarkable comeback, worked with both the TaylorMade team and Mike Taylor, the longtime iron and wedge designer who was formerly part of the Nike Golf equipment team that worked on all of Woods' clubs.
