Technogym has developed an application for its Artis treadmill, connected with Google Glass eyewear, which allows the runner to control the speed of the equipment with voice commands, to see the running data on the headset and to communicate with a personal trainer or a friend through a webcam. The performance data can be entered through Technogym's Unity console into mywellnesscloud, the company's Android-based cloud computing platform, which tracks the user's progress over time. It is compatible with social networks and various fitness apps.
