Technogym has announced the sale of Exerp ApS, a Danish company involved in the development of software for the management of club members, and its holding company, Amleto ApS, to a U.S. investment firm, Battery Ventures. Technogym will record a capital gain of €17.1 million on the €53.1 million price of the transaction, which should be carried out by the end of this month. The business was not consolidated line-by-line into Technogym’s accounts. Technogym says its Mywellness digital platform, which is already connected by 18,000 fitness clubs around the world, will continue to be compatible with Exerp and other club management software systems in the industry.
