Tennis Europe, the European branch of the International Tennis Federation, has extended its deal with Sports Marketing Surveys (SMS), the international market research company based in the U.K. The partnership was established in 2004 to delve into the sport's data. SMS is responsible for the Next Generation player study. It has been crunching the data for all four editions of the triennial European Tennis Report, available free of charge on the Tennis Europe website. The consultancy will be presenting new results at Tennis Europe's Top Executives Meeting in Crete in March 2020. It operates from offices in the U.K. and the U.S., and has partnerships in 21 markets worldwide. In the U.S., it reports quarterly to the Tennis Industry Association. In addition, it has been supplying research on the Wimbledon tournament for 35 years and for the French Open (Roland-Garros) since 2015. Tennis Europe has grown from 17 to 50 member nations over the years. It organizes independent competitions for all age groups.
