Tern, the young urban cycling company, has won a prestigious Red Dot Award for product design with its Verge Duo folding bicycle. The Taiwan-based firm was launched only last year by Joshua Hon, son of the founder of Dahon, the established specialist in folding bicycles. Since then, Tern has been distinguished three times with international awards for its clean and functional design.
