The 2016/17 edition of the Vendée Globe, a round-the-world solo sailing race, non-stop and without assistance, has been won by Armel Le Cléac'h. The Breton navigator, who wore Race 2.0 a performance eyewear model by Julbo, also achieved the new record time for the race of 74 days, three hours and 35 minutes. The Vendée Globe yacht race, which starts and ends at Les Sables d'Olonne, in Western France, takes place every four years. Meanwhile, Julbo has announced that selections are open for the sixth edition of the White Session, an opportunity for freeriders to test their limits. The event will take place in Iceland on Apr. 10-24.
