California-based subscription health and wellness company The Beachbody Company (BODi) announced a key initiative as part of its comprehensive turnaround plan to restore growth and generate positive cash flow using new tools and incentives more closely aligned with productivity.

BODi’s “Growth Game Plan” aims to reward the best-performing network distributors with special bonuses and align total compensation with industry best practices. A key element of the new plan is the appointment of author, speaker and high-performance coach Brendon Burchard as Chief Growth and Performance Advisor to help the company’s partner network drive performance. Burchard is the founder and CEO of GrowthDay and an advisor to many successful technology companies. With the addition of GrowthDay, a subscription-based personal development app, to the BODi Health Esteem ecosystem, BODi’s partner network will be able to sell its existing portfolio of digital fitness and nutrition products and healthy eating programs to potential customers. Select content from Burchard and the GrowthDay app will also be featured in the BODi app. GrowthDay will be available to the BODi network in November 2023.

The compensation plan changes and a new simplified monthly digital and nutrition subscription, nicknamed “The $99 Rebel” as a more affordable alternative to help new subscribers offset inflation, will launch in January 2024. By doing so, BODi aims to help partners improve the overall productivity of their teams, attract new partners to the BODi network and create a compelling business opportunity for all partners by helping current and potential customers improve their health awareness. Health Esteem is a new wellness category that helps people gain early momentum for life-changing change by meeting them where they are, empowering them to make consistent progress, and giving them proven tools to make extraordinary progress in improving health, fitness, weight loss, strength and self-esteem.

The company, which has been known as Beachbody for 24 years, recently began calling itself BODi, which stands for Beachbody On Demand interactive. The company claims to be the leader in the Health Esteem category, which combines digital content on fitness, nutrition and mindset with exceptional nutritional supplements.
