The Body Glove license for snorkelling gear held by Chapman Walters Intercoastal Corp. (CWIC) is being expanded to encompass all of Europe, South America and Asia. The U.S. company’s products are already being sold in the UK, Russia, Japan, New Zealand, the Caribbean, the USA and others. The extension of the license coincides with a shift in CWIC’s control from Michael Chapman to another co-founder, Cindi A. Walters. The two set up CWIC in 1996 as a specialist in snorkelling equipment. The company says that sales have grown by 15-25 percent each year since its birth, and that year-to-date revenues have risen by 42 percent.
